Wonderful early war Brady image, slightly cut down to fit album page size of the Commanding officers of the 29th NYVI in the Valley during 1862.  Shown prominantly in front is Colonel, later General Adolph Von Steinwher of Gettysburg fame seated with sash, next to him is Lt Colonel, later BBG William Pratt Wainwright who would become Colonel of the 76th NYVI.  The National Flag is at left, and the Regimental Flag is at right in front of the tent held by the Color Sargent.   Several other officers are seated and inside the tent.  One of the best images I was able to collect over the last 40 years.
