Important portion of Nelson A Miles's personal Uniform equipment.  His dress Bullion Belt with sword hangers and the Military Case he kept them in as Colonel of the 5th US Infantry 1868-80.   Possibly the same belt he is wearing in the large album I posted on the site earlier.   HV Allen and co. NY embossed on the case.  Rarely does the opportunity come to own something so consequential.
